Continue your journey to the city of Dresden. Known for cultural treasures such as the Semper Opera, Zwinger Palace, and Frauenkirche, Dresden is undoubtedly one of Germany’s most beautiful cities. In the evening, we recommend attending a concert or opera or enjoy a drink on the “Balcony of Europe,” offering fantastic views over the Elbe River.

Dresden – Meissen – Nuremberg

In the morning, enjoy free time in Dresden. If you wish to go shopping and would like assistance, your guide will be happy to accompany you. Explore the old town with its Gothic cathedral and visit a porcelain artisan workshop before proceeding to the city of Nuremberg.

Day 5

Nuremberg – Munich

Nestled along the banks of the Pegnitz River, Nuremberg enchants with its Gothic churches, romantic and colorful half-timbered houses, and tranquil squares. Your guide will share the secrets of this walled city, where the impressive and wellpreserved castle stands as a guardian of its medieval past. For a touch of luxury, we recommend an afternoon visit to Kaiserstrasse, home to high-end fashion boutiques, classic paintings, exquisite art objects, and elegant home accessories. In the morning, visit Neuschwanstein Castle, Germany’s most famous castle. Built by King Ludwig II of Bavaria, known as the „Fairy Tale King,“ construction began in 1869 and continued until 1886. Inspired by the medieval castles of German knights, this iconic structure served as Walt Disney‘s model for Sleeping Beauty‘s castle in Disneyland. Then, continue to Baden-Baden, the former summer residence of European nobility. Renowned for its elegant thermal baths and casino, the city invites you to unwind in the soothing hot springs or try your luck at the casino or enjoy a day at the racetrack (seasonal).
