Day 1

Berlin

Upon arrival, reception by your personal guide and transfer from the airport to the hotel. In the afternoon, ascent to the Television Tower. At a height of more than 200 m above the city, you will enjoy an unforgettable view of Berlin accompanied by a tasty welcome cocktail.

day 2

Berlin

In the morning you will discover the top attractions of Germany`s capital, such as the historic Brandenburg Gate or the modern Potsdam Square. After enjoying a tasty lunch, for example in the famous gourmet restaurant “Käfer”, located in the dome of the German parliament “Reichstag” it is time to go shopping. Your guide will advise you on the best prestigious designer stores and luxury boutiques such as “The Corner” or the legendary “KaDeWe” warehouse.

Day 3

Berlin - Sanssouci Palace - Dresden

The city of Potsdam is located only half an hour from Berlin. Potsdam is the former residential seat of the Prussian kings, which is famous for its historical heritage of extraordinary palaces, gardens and parks. During a private visit, you will discover the interior of the most sumptuous of these monuments: the Sanssouci Palace, also known as the “Prussian Versailles”. That together with its extensive gardens fascinate annually visitors from all over the world. Continuation to the city of Dresden. Due to its many cultural assets such as the Semper Opera, the Zwinger Palace and the Frauenkirche, Dresden is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful cities in Germany. In the evening we recommend to attend a concert or an opera or to enjoy a drink on the “balcony of Europe” with its fantastic views over the Elbe river.

Day 4

Dresden - Meissen - Nuremberg

In the morning free time in Dresden. If you decide to do some shopping and would like to have assistance, your guide will be happy to accompany you. Continuation of the trip to the small town of Meissen that owes its popularity to its famous and traditional porcelain manufacture. You will visit the old town with its gothic cathedral, as well as a porcelain artisan workshop, before continuing with the journey to the city of Nuremberg.

day 5

Nuremberg - Munich

On the banks of the Pegnitz river, Nuremberg captivates with its set of Gothic churches, its romantic and colorful half-timbered houses and its peaceful squares. Your guide will tell you about the secrets of this city, which, surrounded by imposing walls and under the guard of the impressive and well-preserved castle, will take you back to ancient times. If you fancy an afternoon of luxury shopping today, we recommend to visit the avenue Kaiserstrasse with its luxury fashion boutiques, classic paintings, works of art and home accessories. In the afternoon the trip will continue to Munich, the capital of Bavaria and headquarters of the car brand BMW.

Day 6

Munich

In the morning, visit the city´s famous Marienplatz square. It is the seat of the elegant city hall which is famous for its carillon that resounds every day at 11 and 12 o’clock. You will also visit the cathedral of Our Lady and the Viktualienmarkt food market, an authentic pleasure for all the senses. At the Viktualienmarkt you will find everything from the most genuinely Bavarian to the most exotic products. There is also the elegant avenue “Maximilianstrasse” with its many boutiques of renowned international brands which invites you to stroll through. In the evening we suggest to visit the Olympic tower and dine in its excellent restaurant “181” which offers a spectacular view over the entire city and the Alps.

Day 7

Munich - Ober-ammergau - Linderhof - Garmisch

Continue the tour to Oberammergau, a village that has become famous for its Passion Play and for its exquisite crafts. Along the way visit to the Wieskirche church, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In the afternoon travel to Linderhof Palace, one of the 3 castles built by King Ludwig II of Bavaria and the only castle where he spent most of his time. Today, your final destination is Garmisch Partenkirchen, the capital of winter sports and the capital of Germany´s Winter Olympics. Here we also find the highest mountain in Germany, the Zugspitze (2,962 meters). Spend the night at the hotel Schloss Elmau *****, idyllically located in the middle of the Alps. Dinner at the hotel.

day 8

Garmisch - Neuschwanstein - Baden-Baden

In the morning visit Neuschwanstein Castle. The most famous castle in Germany was built by King Ludwig II of Bavaria, known as the Mad King because of his strong personality and eccentricities. The Bavarian king began construction between 1869 and 1886. Resembling the medieval castles of the German knights, this castle served Walt Disney as the inspiration of the Sleeping Beauty castle at Disneyland. Then travel to Baden-Baden, the former summer residence of European high nobility. It is also world famous for its elegant hydrothermal station and its casino. Why not relax in the hot springs or try your luck at the racetrack or in the casino? Farewell dinner at the hotel or in one of the excellent restaurants in the city.

Day 9

Baden-Baden - Heidelberg - Frankfurt

After breakfast departure to Heidelberg, Germany’s oldest university town and one of the most visited places, due to its idyllic location on the shores of the Neckar river. Visit of the castle and the old center. Heidelberg also has the longest pedestrian zone in Germany with a wide variety of shops and boutiques. In the afternoon continuation to Frankfurt and transfer to the airport.
