Day 1
Frankfurt - Heidelberg
Pick up in the morning at your hotel to enjoy a city tour in Frankfurt, the financial and commercial heart of Germany, a city full of fascinating contrasts between modern development and historic landmarks. In the afternoon, a Porsche instructor will give you a short introduction to drive your Porsche in Germany, then you will be set to go and enjoy your drive from Frankfurt to Heidelberg on the famous german highways. Heidelberg is the oldest University City in Germany and famous for its ancient city center and its castle. Overnight in Hotel Heidelberg Suites***** (approx. 100 km’s).
day 2
Heidelberg - Stuttgart (Porsche Museum) - Staufeneck Castle
Continue your trip to Stuttgart, which is the German center of automobile production. Porsche and Mercedes Benz have their headquarters in the state capital of Baden-Württemberg. After visiting the Porsche Museum and a short city tour through downtown Stuttgart you will have leisure time to discover the “Königstraße“. This street has more than 1 km of shops and stores and it is a paradise for the ones who love shopping. In the afternoon, trip to the Staufeneck castle, that nowadays is a five star castle hotel with its own Michelin star gourmet restaurant. Overnight in Hotel Staufeneck***** (approx. 200 km’s).
Day 3
Staufeneck Castle - Nördlingen - Augsburg - Füssen
Follow the famous romantic road to Nördlingen. This small medieval city is well known for ist medieval center completely surrounded by a wall. Enjoy the views of the city on a walk along this wall or climb up the church tower with its viewing platform 90 meters high. Pass by Augsburg which was one of the economic centers of the middle Ages, to finally arrive in the afternoon at the foothills of the Alpes in Füssen. Overnight at the Hotel Hirsch***** (approx. 270 km’s).
Day 4
Füssen - Neuschwanstein Castle - Zugspitze - Garmisch-Partenkirchen
This morning you are going to visit the castle of Neuschwanstein. It was built by Ludwig II, who was known for his strong personality and his eccentricities. The bavarian king gave the order to build the castle between 1869 and 1886 just like the medieval castles of the German knights with a neo-romantic style. Walt-Disney used the castle as an inspiration to build the sleeping beauty castle of Disneyland. The tour continues to Garmisch-Partenkirchen and to lake Eibsee. If the weather is nice, ascend to the top of the “Zugspitze“ with the cable car. This is the highest mountain in Germany with 2.962 above sea level. From the top you have an unforgettable panoramic view of the Alps. In the afternoon, the tour continues to the Schloss Hotel, which is located in a private valley that served as a venue for the presidents of the G7 members in 2015. Overnight at Schloss Hotel Elmau*****(approx. 100 km’s).
day 5
Garmisch - Linderhof Castle - Aying - Munich
Start the day with a visit to Linderhof castle, the second most famous castle of the “Mad King“. This castle is smaller than Neuschwanstein, but its interiors are elegant and opulent. The tour continues to the traditional village called Aying, which is located nearby Munich where you are going to learn about one of the most traditional products of Germany and in this particular case Bavaria: Beer! During a private tour at the family brewery “Ayinger“ you are going to learn about the process of making beer. At the end of the tour you are can enjoy a beer tasting of the best beers and a farewell lunch with traditional bavarian food. Transfer out to the hotel in Munich or to the airport. (approx. 120 km’s).
